19,270. Lark, A. and Lark, A. T. Oct. 27. Heels; heel protectors; clogs.-A metal plate or nut e is built into the heel of a boot, shoe, or clog to receive the screw by which the metal tip is secured. This tip is of the usual military type, with a bar or plate a' connecting its sides, and prongs or spikes a' which pierce the top lift or the india-rubber pad b, placed on the top of the heel.
